Maintaining good body structure by adhering to good body postures
I will be enlightening us on how to maintain good body
structure. Good body structure can never be achieved without adhering to good
body postures.
Hear are what you need to do to keep your normal body structure intact.
1.
Sitting posture
When you want to sit down, do not stoop over but sit erect.
2.
Working on the computer
As a computer
operator, do not lean front nor Lie
back on the chair rather
sit with your back erect
3.
Back pack
When carrying a baby, do not sling on one shoulder nor wear the bag too low tighten the strap of your bag for a good support
4.
Sleeping position
Do not sleep with your
stomach on the bed sleep with your face
upward or sleep with either of
your cheek resting on the pillow.
5.
Using of phone
Do not bend or drop your head, Lift your phone and press
with two hands.
6.
Driving posture
Do not lean back on the seat do not stoop over sit erect and drive
comfortably.
7.
Standing posture
Do not stand with your
shoulder drooping or back bent stand straight eat your
shoulder and back erect.
8.
Lifting of heavy object
Do not bend over to
lift squat down to avoid backache
and waist pain.
9.
Pillow position
Do not use too high nor too
low pillow use normal pillow size for
comfortability.
10.
Carrying a baby
Do not stand with your abdomen
pointing front and you balance your baby on it. standing erect and carry your baby
with both arms.
A good body posture does not necessarily means keeping your
spine totally straight rather it entails maintaining the normal curves at your
back and shoulder.
The benefits of keeping the good body postures can never be
over emphasized, they are :
1.
Good body posture facilitates breathing
2.
It increases concentration and thinking ability
3.
It makes one feel better about oneself that is
self confidence
4.
It keeps one away from health complications
On the other hand, bad body postures result
in ;
1.
Chest pain
2.
Poor blood circulation
3.
Waist pain and whole lot of others.
