Polygamous family refers to a situation where a man marries more than one wife. It is well known in developing countries like Africa and Asia , in the traditional era ,men take-in many wives and have many children . During that period the number of wives a man has determines social status and prestige.

1. Competition and opposition:

This where wives compete for love ad power. This makes then enemies which affect their marriage and indirectly affecting their children.

2. Jealousy:

Felling angry or unhappy where there is progress in the other wife children and so on.

3. Conflict:

Is a situation in the family whereby the wives are in serious argument or disagreement.

4.  Gossip:

This is where a wife shares marriage problems with other outsider like friend. It is a major weakness in a polygamous marriage because a wife will talk evil of the other wife ad children.
