What is immunization?

Immunization is the process whereby a person is made immune or resistance to an infectious disease typically by the administration of a vaccine.

REASONS WHY WE SHOULD IMMUNIZE OUR CHILDREN

Every parent or guardian want to so what is best for their children. They know about the importance of cars, seats, baby gates and other ways to keep them safe. But, do we know that one of the best ways to protect your children is to make sure they have all of their Vaccinations?

WHY DO PEOPLE AVOID IMMUNIZATION OF CHILDREN

Many parents all over the world are choosing not to vaccinate their children for religious faith, philosophical health and other reasons. Anti-vaccers, as they are called run the gamut across the political and geographical spectrum. Overall, more than 10 percent of parents are either delaying when there are vaccinated or not getting the shots at all.

The decision of whether or not to vaccinate your child might ultimately be a personal one, but make it a well formed one. Ask questions, do your research. Your decision affects not only your children but the people around them (at school, at church, on the play ground and so on). Understand the risk of not vaccinating your children is an important part of the decision making process.

There are many infections or disease caused by non immunization of children which are deadly and can easily lead them to their early grave.

Some of these diseases includes:

3. Pertusis (whoofing cough)

EFFECTS OF NON-IMMUNIZATION OF CHILDREN

1. Children who are not immunized against pertusis (whooping cough) are 23 time more likely to catch the disease given them a higher change to spreading it to others.

2. Some doctors and pediatricians refuse to treat non-vaccinated child.

3. Non-vaccinated children can also legally be banned from certain day care facilities, as well as after the school programs, depending on their immunization records.

4. Non-vaccinated children also pose a threat to individuals with weak immune system especially those who cannot naturally fight off antibodies those without vaccine are dangerous to people with serious disease.

5. During an outbreak of disease children and families of immunization may be guaranteed from protection and might be excluded from certain areas or events. And that make the children fill bad.






Without immunization your child can get sick with the disease, vaccination protect against some parents have adopted the idea that with infants and vaccines. There are too many too soon . “but without them children could contact diseases that are otherwise completely preventable. If a child gets one of these disease such as measles, rubella and whooping cough they face the risk of hospitalization.

So my advice to parents is to vaccinate your children to avoid brain damages, paralysis haltered and eventually death to children because children are future leaders of tomorrow.
