Team bus involved in road accident

The team bus of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Ikorodu United FC was involved in a road accident on their way to an away game.

Ikorodu United face Lobi  Stars on match-day 23 of the NPFL and were on their way to Makurdi when the accident happened.

The club announced the incident on their Twitter account.

 

It is known if there is any casualties from the accident but from the photos shared by the club on Twitter, the windshield of the team bus is badly damaged.

This incident adds to their miseries this season as they continue to languish at the bottom of the NPFL table.

After 21 games, Ikorodu United FC are 19th on the table with just 15 points.
