Media outlet Fichajes claim the Red Devils chief has been impressed with the midfielder's displays for Joachim Low's side at Euro 2016.

The Wolfsburg ace has only been at the club for a year following his £25m switch from Schalke.

The 22-year-old was the subject of interest from United last summer before he made the transfer

And Jose Mourinho could test the Bundesliga outfit's resolve with a bumper bid.

Draxler can play either on the left-wing or centrally and managed six goals and five assists in an impressive campaign for Wolfsburg.

But despite United's reported interest, he has a contract with Wolfsburg until June 2020.
