Here are 4 food items you really should leave out of a microwave.
- Pizza: If you've ever tried to microwave pizza before then you'll know that it just ends up drying out. Instead, bake it in 375 degree oven until the cheese has melted and the crust is crisp. Alternatively, has melted and the crust is crisp.
- Fried Chicken: As with fries below, refrying this is the best option. Place chicken on a baking pan and cover with foil. Pop in an oven set at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes and then remove the foil.
- French Fries: Merely micro waving fries is likely to lead to a change in texture and overall taste. A better option is to refry in hot oil until it is brown and crisp. Drain the oil on a paper towel and sprinkle salt over it, your fries will be as good as new.
- Eggs: It's never a good idea to put this in the microwave, especially the boiled variety as it is likely to pop and 'burn'.
