4 food items you shouldn't reheat in a microwave

What would modern day living be like without the option of a microwave?
From heating up dishes in no time at all, to even making meals from scratch, microwaves are unarguably a modern day kitchen essential.
While microwaves are made essentially to heat food items, certain food items are better off reheated via other means.
Here are 4 food items you really should leave out of a microwave.
If you're trying to heat up only a slice or two of pizza, place them in a dry skillet and tent with a foil, then heat over a gas with medium heat until until the cheese (Food Guruz)

  1.   Pop this in an oven set at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes and then remove the foil for best results (Christian Arenae)
Pizza: If you've ever tried to microwave pizza before then you'll know that it just ends up drying out. Instead, bake it in 375 degree oven until the cheese has melted and the crust is crisp. Alternatively, has melted and the crust is crisp.
  2.   French fries can easily lose texture and taste (Tarbouch)
Fried Chicken: As with fries below, refrying this is the best option. Place chicken on a baking pan and cover with foil. Pop in an oven set at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes and then remove the foil.
  3.  Eggs in a microwave are likely to explode (Ukr shops)
French Fries: Merely micro waving fries is likely to lead to a change in texture and overall taste. A better option is to refry in hot oil until it is brown and crisp. Drain the oil on a paper towel and sprinkle salt over it, your fries will be as good as new.
  4. Eggs: It's never a good idea to put this in the microwave, especially the boiled variety as it is likely to pop and 'burn'.
