Manchester United fans react on Twitter to Jesse Lingard display against Chelsea

Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Jesse Lingard’s performance against Chelsea at the weekend.

Lingard featured for United against Chelsea in the Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

The 23-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, started the match and played until 65 minutes.

The England international did not have a great game, as the following Opta Stats table shows.

United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Lingard’s performance against Chelsea on Sunday evening.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening, hosts Chelsea had 44% of the possession, took 14 shots of which six were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors United had 56% of the possession, took 16 shots of which five were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

Chelsea won the match 4-0, thanks to goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante.
