Masterchef contestant Helen Barker found dead at home as police arrest man on suspicion of manslaughter
Former Masterchef contestant Helen Barker has been found dead at her home in Wiltshire.
Local police officers were called to her address on Thursday morning after a report of a sudden death. She was 38 years old.
A
78-year-old man, who was reportedly known to Barker, has been arrested
on suspicion of manslaughter and actual bodily harm. He has since been
released on bail as police enquiries continue.

Forensic
teams have carried out a post-mortem, though the results have been
inconclusive and further tests will have to be conducted.
Barker's family have paid tribute to her, after police confirmed her death to the press on Saturday.
"The
whole family have been left devastated by Helen's untimely death. She
was much loved and will be greatly missed by us all," they told the Wiltshire Times.
"She
was a bright young woman who, in addition to her attainment of a BSc
degree in Dental Technology at the University of Wales Institute
Cardiff, was a talented artist and an accomplished cook, having appeared
on the Masterchef television programme.
"It
will be difficult to come to terms with her loss, but this is being
aided by the kind words and messages of support we have received and for
which we are very grateful.
"We would like to kindly ask that the media allow us time to grieve in peace."
