Chelsea veteran Branislav Ivanovic set for MLS move in 2017 – report
Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic could find himself playing in the MLS in next year.
The Serbian international, who has been at Stamford Bridge since his move from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008, has no long-term future at Chelsea and is expected to be the subject of offers with his contract expiring at the end of the 2016/17 season.
According to Bleacher Report, he looks set to join former colleagues such as Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole in completing a move to the MLS in either the January or summer transfer window.

Ivanovic’s performances have been
dwindling over the last few years after an apparent reduction in
mobility and speed, the 32-year-old has subsequently been criticised by
some for not doing enough to mask oppositions’ supply.
However, he has still remained effective going forward, delivering dangerous crosses and popping up with the odd strike or header.
