Footballer Lionel Messi and his father have been sentenced to 21 months for tax fraud.
The pair are not likely to go to prison however asunder Spanish law a prison sentence of less than two years can be served under probation.

The Barcelona star and his father Jorge Messi were accused of defrauding Spain of €4.1m between 2007 and 2009.
A Spanish Court has also ordered them to pay €2m in fines for three tax crimes.
Throughout the trial Messi claimed he knew nothing of his tax affairs.
Spanish prosecutors said tax havens in Belize and Uruguay were used to conceal earnings from image rights.
