Manchester City’s new manager Pep Guardiola could pile more misery
onto Joe Hart as he eyes the transfer of Claudio Bravo in goal.
The 29-year-old had a shocker for England at Euro 2016, making
high-profile individual errors against Wales and Iceland as the team
dropped out of the tournament early.
Hart’s form for City has also been patchy in recent times, and it
looks like Guardiola is now concerned about keeping him as the club’s
number one.
This could lead the Spaniard to raid his old club Barcelona for Chilean shot-stopper Bravo, according to the
Daily Mail.
The 33-year-old may be an ambitious signing after some fine form as
Barca’s number one, but City will hope Guardiola can use his connections
to make the deal happen.
Barcelona also have the young and talented Marc-Andre ter Stegen
waiting in the wings to replace Bravo as number one at the Nou Camp.
