Ozzy Osbourne breaks silence as he's pictured for first time amid marital rumours

HE'S well known for his drug-fuelled benders and tumultuous relationship with wife Sharon, but Ozzy Osbourne vowed he'd been sober for over three years.

 

The Black Sabbath frontman is no longer living with his spouse, 63, and is believed to have been kicked out of their Beverly Hills marital home.

While Ozzy, 67, didn't address their relationship status directly, he did confirm he is still on the straight and narrow with his addiction.

He told E! News: "I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate."

Many outlets reported that the musician had gone "missing", but he was spotted out in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon wearing his trademark black attire, sunglasses and long locks down to his shoulder. 

 

 

Meanwhile, Sharon was due to present chat show The Talk, but was absent following a bombardment of media attention over her alleged marital troubles.

Her co-host Julie Chen said: "As we get started, Sharon is not here today. There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumours and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage.

"Sharon understandably took the day off and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same."

The couple share three children together - Kelly, 31, Aimee, 32 and Jack, 30 - and their family rocketed to fame when they starred in the reality hit TV show The Osbournes on MTV.

Wild Ozzy has had an extremely public battle with alcohol and drugs, and Sharon revealed she nearly divorced him on the eve of their 30th anniversary in 2013 after discovering he had relapsed.

Sharon wrote in her autobiography Unbreakable: "I would never have imagined our anniversary would be the start of one of the worst periods in our marriage.
