Nigerian graduates with First Class from Canada University

A professor once told him: “You don’t have the mental capacity to understand computer science.”He graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science."

A young Nigerian man, Ifo Ikede, has graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada with a First Class Honours in Computer Science.

On Facebook, a friend of his, Nick Falvo, expressed his joy and pride for his mate, telling the story that Ikede was once discouraged by a lecturer but he went on to succeed.

Ikede was pictured giving the Black Power salute to share his excitement for his achievement.

Falvo, on his Facebook page, said, "This is my friend Ifo Ikede giving the Black Power salute as he graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island on Saturday. A professor once told him: “You don’t have the mental capacity to understand computer science.”He graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science."
