Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Eric Bailly’s performance against Galatasaray on Saturday.

Bailly featured in the pre-season friendly match for United against Galatasaray at the Ullevi Stadium.

The 22-year-old defender started the game and played for 67 minutes, as the Red Devils registered a 5-2 win.

The Ivory Coast international centre-back played well for Jose Mourinho’s side and showed his quality.

Bailly joined United from Spanish club Villarreal on a four-year contract with the option to extend for a further two years last month, as announced on the Premier League outfit’s official website.

According to The Daily Mail, the Red Devils had to pay Villarreal a transfer fee of £30 million in order to secure the services of the former Espanyol centre-back.

Bailly is a very good and promising young defender, and he should prove to be a success at Old Trafford.
