Anambra launches project ‘IMPACT’ for indigenes

Anambra State government has concluded plans to conduct a free
training on human capital development in various economically viable
skills and empowerment packages for its indigenes nationwide.
The training titled, project Impact, according to the Head of Mission
in its Abuja Liaison office, Mrs. Edith Mike-Ejezie, who also serves as
the coordinator of the trainings will be held at the conference rooms
of the Anambra State Liaison Abuja Located in Asokoro and other partner
venues in FCT for the Anambra Indigenes.
Ejezie reiterated that the program which is aimed at empowering the
indigenes is in partnership with a goodwill partner, the Chief Executive
Officer of Groundup Media, Derek Obasi, amongst other numerous
trainers, agencies, Institutions.
“The Project Impact idea is to reach out to different International
and Local agencies for a free training and empowerment packages as a
goodwill gesture for the indigenes of the State, and a certificate of
participation will be offered to indigenes on completion of the
training”.
These free trainings are in the areas of Information Communication
Technology (ICT), Agriculture, Education, Health, Entrepreneurship,
International Business and Trade, Leadership programs, etc. amongst
other areas that will impact on the lives of our citizens empowering
them now and in the future.
